“Books are a uniquely portable magic.”
― Stephen King
The quote above is pretty well-known. I’m sure a lot of you (I’d even venture to say most of you) have heard it before. Although it’s not unusual or unique to quote Stephen King, this one sentence sums up my very reason for doing this blog, so I think it’s a great way to kick start my weekly post.
Magic. That’s what they are, all right. So powerful is their sorcery that I find myself at the end of an absolute week from hell and still eager to dive into a new book. On my agenda for tonight? “Letting The Demons Out” by Ray Wallace. His interview will appear on this blog next week, so stay tuned. 🙂
There are lots of fun things in store for Author Interview Corner. Lots! Imagine, if you will, that I am driving a dump truck. You see the lights come on and hear the familiar “beeeep, beeeep, beeeeep” as I’m reversing in your direction. Then I lower the dumping bed, and a pile of fun things spill out before your eyes. That’s how much super awesome stuff is in store for this blog! I’ve got a lot of authors lined up. In no particular order: Bowie Valeriano Ibarra, Lori R. Lopez, Rod Heather of LORE Magazine, Suzi M, J Travis Grundon, John Rose, and we’ll even get to know poet / visual artist, Richard H. Fay. So exciting!
But for now… onto the main event!!! As promised, everyone who commented on the blog this week, as well as those who commented on Facebook, were entered for their chance to win a copy of the Alan Nayes e-book GARGOYLES. The results are in. Our winners are: Helene Tompkins, Bob Gemienhardt, and Sue Ann Rakes!
Congratulations, guys! You will be contacted shortly by Alan or myself with details on how to claim your prize! Thanks to everyone for their comments and support. Please join us next week for an interview with Ray Wallace!!
